Provable fairness ensures that the outcome of each game is generated in a way that is transparent, verifiable, and cannot be altered after the fact.
Each result is determined using cryptographic inputs that both you and Cooked.us contribute, allowing you to independently verify that outcomes have not been manipulated.
Each game round is generated using three key inputs:
• Server Seed — a secret value generated by Cooked.us
• Client Seed — a value you can set or that is generated by your device
• Nonce — a number that increments with each game round
Before gameplay begins, Cooked.us generates a server seed and shares a hashed version of that seed with you. This hash acts as a commitment — it proves that the server seed cannot be changed after it is created.
When you play, the server seed, client seed, and nonce are combined using a cryptographic function to produce the game result.
After the server seed is rotated, the original (unhashed) server seed is revealed. You can then: • Take the revealed server seed • Hash it yourself • Confirm it matches the original hash shown before gameplay
This proves that the seed was not altered.
You can also use the server seed, client seed, and nonce together to independently reproduce the outcome of any game round.
Server seeds are rotated regularly to maintain fairness and security. You may also change your client seed at any time.
You can verify any round by entering your:
• Server Seed
• Client Seed
• Nonce
